HISTORY

Ironic (formerly known as Razor X, real name Rex Razor) originated on Earth in an alternate dimension. In the year 2005, he was acting as a wildlife photographer for National Geographic, and was present in Cuba during an accidental explosion which caused a shockwave around the world and began mutating humans and giving many some form of powers. This was the first time in that reality that super powers had ever existed outside comic books. Razor mutated and gained the ability of magnetic control. The mutations also caused illness, which was treatable only by massive doses of a secret formula every several days. For over a year, Razor was part of a team called "Freedom Force," whose duty was to track down and apprehend unlicensed mutants. On one assignment, however, Razor X and two of his teammates were accidentally pulled through a time vortex (see 9/2/01 game report) to AlertForce's reality. Unable to return home, Razor joined AlertForce and lived for several months at the Los Angeles mansion.

When Iron Knight formed an "East Coast" branch of AlertForce, based at the team's old HQ in Mid-City, he assigned Waterlord to lead the team and also assigned RazorX to be part of the new branch. RazorX resided at AlertForce HQ in mid city for two years, before that group disbanded.

After that, he continued acting as a superhero. However, after another year or so, he dropped out of the public eye.

In 2013, returning to society as a changed man, Razor X began his public life as a hero, reborn as... IRONIC.
